The 7th grade volleyball team played against Jimmie Don Aycock. The B Team battled hard in their match and showed good hustle and teamwork on the court but were defeated by the Roadrunners in two sets 20-25 and 23-25. The ladies played with great determination displaying that Grizzly pride throughout. Top server for the match was Avery Mahan with 13 points. Other servers for the Grizzlies were Camryn Williams and Mia Alvarez with four points apiece. Jailyn Christian served three points and Alayah McMillan added two. Defensive standouts were Miya Bess and Raivyn Evans. Setters were Angelina Triplett and Mia Alavarez. Evelyn Chittenden was outstanding at the net play.
The Grizzly A Team took on the Roadrunners in an exciting, tough, and long match losing in three sets 25-18, 23-25, and 19-25. The Grizzlies battled with great heart, hustle, and teamwork. Awesome display of tips and spikes happened at the net. Defensive players of the match were Amaya Rivera-Melendez, Alexis Guevera, Jolivia Rodgers, and Elizabeth Vandenburg. Isabella Mobley, Amari Betts-Navarro, and Nola Robinson, were sound competitors at the net offensively and defensively. Outstanding setters were Hannah Bice and Lyrrick Flowers. Top server of the match was Lyrrick Flowers with eight points. Nola Robinson added six. Isabella Mobley scored five. Railyn Coquemar added four points apiece.
